Ruth Lucile Barnes McAllister 94, of Conway, passed away July 27, 2015. She was born December 1, 1920 in Huron, South Dakota. Ruth was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Nurses Corp under General Patton's 3rd Army that marched across Europe during WWII. She loved to go to the Faulkner County Senior Center to play cards with her friends. She was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star, and wife to the late F.L. McAllister. Mother to two sons Mike McAllister (Darlene) of Weatherford, TX and Robert McAllister (Christine) of Conway, AR.; She loved spending time with her four grandchildren Carie Siria (Josh) of Fayetteville, AR; Kevin McAllister (Stephanie) of Joshua, TX; Kellie Robinson and Nick McAllister (Melanie) of Conway, AR. The joys of her life were her nine great grandchildren Alex, Daniel, and Jacob Siria; Drake, Dax and Dane McAllister; Tanis and Kemper Robinson; Lane Yancy.

In Lieu of flowers please send donations to the Faulkner County Senior Citizen Center in Conway.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday July 31, 2015 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.

To the family of "GG": She was one of the most lovable people I have ever known, She was so sweet and kind and a pure joy to be around. I am going to miss her, but her time here with us was at an end. Yes, we will miss her, but we can celebrate her long and amazing life, and that I will do!!
