My heart is heavy as I try to accept Wayne's passing. I miss you so much, Wayne. Your smile, your laugh, your jokes, your hugs, your advice, your mentorship, and your friendship. I am honored to have worked with you and to have been your student. I know you wouldn't want us to grieve your passing, but to celebrate your life. I am thankful for all the memories you left with my girls and I. You will forever live in our hearts.
Sharon and Gerry, you and his grandchildren were his whole world. He spoke often of you, and always with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. Prayers for your families.....

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Wayne's passing. He was truly one of the most genuine, friendly, giving, humorous, positive, upbeat and kind hearted people I have ever met. To "G-love" and the entire Smith family, my thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt sorrow are with you in this time of reflection and celebration of Wayne's life - a man loved and admired by so many. Rest in peace my friend....

I, like so many, met Wayne through his photography. Of all the friends I have who are photographers, I had Wayne take my son's senior pictures and am most honored I did so . The world this good man lived and saw through the lens of that camera was amazing as it lit him up talking about family and photography, his two great loves. I will truly miss his wonderful spirit. My prayers are with you all in this sorrowful time.

Dear friend, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember working for Conrad Arendt and doing the golf tournament favors for the tournament - you should have heard the stories told on Snuffy - and he NEVER denied any of them. That's the Snuffy I will always remember.! Love to you, Paula.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Wayne Smith. I met Wayne through my association with the Arkansas State Golf Association just a few years ago. I have never met or worked with a more enthusiastic personable guy. He loved his work and made every person around him happier. I can still hear his laugh and see his big smile. I learned later that Wayne had been best friends in High School with my brother-in-law and our friendship grew. My wife and I are deeply saddened by your loss. Bob and Sherry Steel

My good friend Snuffy will never be forgotten by myself and many, many others who crossed his path. I first met him in 1983 when we worked together at Southwestern Bell. Snuffy was one of the funniest men I've known, who kept me in stitches all the time, and he always answered my email and phone calls, in which we shared laughs.

I am lucky to have known him. I pray that God will watch over Paula, Gerry, and Sharon.
