To the Family,

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you.
May the God of all Comfort comfort you.

Long ago the man Job asked "If a man die, shall he live again? (Job 14:14) How would you feel if you knew that a reunion with your loved ones was possible right here on earth under the best of conditions?

God is the giver of life. He hates and views death as an enemy.
(1 Corinthians 15:26) He has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live again on earth. (Job 14:14,15)

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Mark, but I too, am 54 years old and a retired police officer. I thank this brother for his service to his community. Too many times public servants are not thanked enough for their unselfish service, dangerous risks, and time away from their family-protecting those who are allowed to be with their families in a safe environment. God Bless this brother for his service. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
