Seth Dempsie Casey, 79, of Conway, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. He was born Thursday, June 29, 1933 in Enola, Arkansas to the late Seth Dawson and Pearl Starr Casey.
Mr. Casey was the owner of Casey's Custom Draperies, loved fishing, the outdoors and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, O.C. Casey and Eldon Casey; three sisters, Mamie Pate, Leoda Stone and Wanda Ward.
He leaves to cherish is memory his wife of 59 years Patricia Luyet Casey of the home and a sister Wilma Fern Weaver of Conway.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00am, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Warren Harvey as celebrant. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (501)327-7727, with a Rosary being said at 7:00pm.
Pallbearers will be Sam Goodnight, Mark Hopkins, James Bates, Kevin Bates, Kenny Pate and Bobby Pate.
To the family of Dempsey Casey:
So sorry to hear of your loss. I was in School at one time with Dempsey and went to church with him at Cedar Glade many years. We were also neighbors in our growing up. He was a good person and liked by many. I pray that Gods grace of compassion covers all of you at this time.
