Mr. Vernon Lane Jackson 62, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012. He was born December 05, 1949 in Crabtree Community Clinton, Arkansas to General and Marie (Emerson) Jackson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his father, General Jackson.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Jackson Chalk, brother, Louis Jackson, niece, Dayna Davis, two great nephews, Cole and Coen Davis, and a host of cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers: Rod, Randy and Michael Pruitt, Kenny Watson, John Alford, and Gregg Satterfield.
Honorary Pallbearers: Doyle Mason, Johnny White, Don Hawley, and Johnnie Huggins.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Friday, March 23, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas
Graveside Service and Burial will be 10:00am Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Crabtree Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Berry officiating.

Lane had a tragic life and I am so sorry for all his suffering. I extend sympathy to his family in this huge loss of a brave person.
I am so saddened to hear of Lane's passing. He was a very nice person.
