Mary Jane Robison Walker, age 72, of Yellville passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Yellville, AR.
Mary Jane was born November 10, 1945 at Marshall, AR to Ray and Retha (Ott) Robison. She graduated from Yellville-Summit High School in 1963. She was the general merchandising manager for Harp's in Bull Shoals before moving to the Harp's store in Yellville. She later became the lawn and garden manager before retiring. After retirement, Mary stayed busy with lots of activities she loved doing: volunteering at the Marion County Thrift Shop, playing piano for the community choir and almost anyone else who asked, and entertaining the residents at the nursing home on Friday mornings. She used her talents as a seamstress to make baby quilts for friends and family, and fixing anything the kids and grandkids needed mending. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, growing flowers, and shopping on QVC. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Riverside Church of Christ.
On December 12, 2014, Larry and Mary Jane celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Mary was a devoted wife, mom, Ger, sister, friend, and much more. She is going to be missed by her family, her friends, and her community.
Survivors include son Matt (Marla) Walker of Yellville; daughter Amy (Robert) Erickson of Farmington; grandchildren Nicholas and Madison Erickson and Dawson and Braden Walker; sister Carolyn Avey of Yellville; sister-in-law Brenda (James Lonnie) Tyree of Wichita, KS; niece Paula (Charlie) Melton of Dover; nephews Chad (Jimmie) Haynes of Charleston, AR; James (Melissa) Tyree of Wichita, KS; Ryan (Becky) Tyree of Wichita, KS; and a host of friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Retha; her husband, Larry; her granddaughter, Morgan Faith Walker; and niece Tammy Renee' Haynes.
Visitation for Mrs. Walker will be 6:00 8:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 21, 2018 at Riverside Church of Christ in Gassville, Arkansas with James Lonnie Tyree officiating.
Interment will follow at Layton Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Erickson, Dawson Walker, Braden Walker, Charlie Melton, Isaac Lynch, Mike Parrish, Bobby Joe Ott, and Ryan Tyree.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marion County Thrift Shop Volunteers.
Memorials may be made to Marion County Thrift Shop.
We have worked with Ms. Mary Jane several times over the years. She has always been a "hoot" and a pure joy to be around. We just love her! She will be greatly missed by us all here at Top Shop. Prayers of Peace and comfort for her family.

Matt and Amy, I was so sad to hear about the loss of your sweet mom last Tuesday. I will always remember her with a smile on her face and how much she loved the two of you. She was so proud of all you did and who you were as individuals. I am sure she felt the same for all of her grandchildren.
Carolyn, I am sorry for your loss as well. I know you and Mary Jane have enjoyed much of life together as only sisters could.
