Wanda Lee Smith, age 84, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living in Flippin, Arkansas.
Mrs. Smith was born in Flippin, Arkansas January 4, 1933 to the late A.M. and Della Mae (Wilson) Seawright. A lifelong resident of the area, she had been employed as a paraprofessional with the Adult Education Center. She was a member of Yellville Church of Christ, and she loved to paint, read, and sew, and she loved her family.
Wanda is survived by three daughters: Christie (Kenny) Gilley of Yellville, Arkansas; Tracy (Mike) Sebald of Flippin, Arkansas; Nancy (Glenn) Choate of Searcy, Arkansas; one brother Sammy Seawright of Flippin, Arkansas; one sister Carolyn Treat of Mountain Home, Arkansas; eight grandchildren Lindsey, Stacey, Nickelette, Ben, Amie, Logan, Averie, and Skylar; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy ''Locksmith'' Smith; and an infant son Billy Smith, Jr.
Visitation for Mrs. Smith will be 12:30 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Yellville Church of Christ in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Yellville Church of Christ in Yellville, Arkansas with Jon Hendrix officiating.
Interment will follow at De Soto Cemetery near Yellville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Gilley, Ben Gilley, Clenn Choate, Mike Seabald, Bryan Jefferson, Scotty Jefferson, and Danny Gilley.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center D Hall.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959; or the Marion County Literacy Center.
