Chester Frank Rycroft, age 54, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Chester was born May 8, 1963 in Pacoima, California to Charles Murray and Barbara Ellen (Duell) Rycroft. He had worked at Pace Industries as a furnace tender for the past 23 years. He was a Baptist by faith. Chester loved family, hunting and fishing.

Mr. Rycroft is survived by his wife Debra of the home; one stepson Mike Meltesen; one stepdaughter Stacy Steele; one brother Chris Rycroft; two sisters: Cynthia Haaf-Alseth, and Carrie Branham; one granddaughter Jamie Payne; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Rycroft; his brother Clint Rycroft; and his grandparents Mildred and Jim Duell.

Visitation for Mr. Rycroft will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 10:00 am until service time at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville, Arkansas with David Chapman officiating.

Interment will follow at Layton Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Mike Meltesen, Allen Thomas, Kenny Kelley, Tom Inman, Jamie Payne, Stacy Steele, and Chris Steele.
