Sometimes we meet a person who change our lives. A person who never judged you on your past, and always found solution for the future.A person who would tell you corny jokes just to make you smile. Uncle Dave lived life miles above my own, but that good because he gave me something to look up to...love you Uncle Dave..even if you did make me eat all my supper before you gave me a drink..

So sad to hear of Dave's passing. I worked for USDA, FmHA when Dave was working, also. He was a very nice, intelligent man. Prayers for your family.

I met David over 50 year ago when his brother was a high school friend. Some years later he was married to my friend and co-worker who passed away in 1980. David was one of the nicest, kindest people whom I have ever known and he had many talents. We reconnected on Facebook some years ago and it was easy to see that he was as nice and kind as he had always been, was a devoted husband and father and that he and his second wife raised wonderful children in a loving home. I am sure that he will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. I knew that his health problems were many -- some going all the way back to the Vietnam war -- but his spirits were so good that I did not realize how ill he had become. May he rest in peace.

Dave, you were definitely one of the "good guys"! Those of us who were lucky enough to call you our friend are indeed blessed and the world is a better place because of you. Fly high and strong with the legion of heavenly angels who watch over us all!

Lesa, dear friend, my heart is with you and your family. I am so sorry that you have to walk this path in life, but know that you are not alone. If there is anything that I can do, just let me know.

Sending much love and God's blessing of grace your way.
