Shirley Jean (Burns) Baker, Born Sunday, December 15, 1929 to Frank and Lela Burns of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Shriley was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lela Burns, her husband, Eltis (Pete) Baker and a daughter-in-law Linda Baker.

Shirley is survived by four sons: Charles Eltis and Joella Baker of Yellville; Benny Claude and Margaret Baker of Benton, Robert Burns Baker of Yellville, and Dwight (Reggie) and Stephanie Baker of Peel. Nine Granddaughters: Genia, Kerrie, Jonalia, Bennie Jean, Angela, Robyn, Eva, Haley, and Ashley; eleven great-grandsons, and seven great-granddaughters, and five great-great-grandchildren. One brother Ralph and Marketa Burns, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Shirley was a homemaker, raised four children and enjoyed life. She also worked for 32 years before retiring from Mar-Bax Shirt Factory in Gassville.

Shirley and Pete were fans of basketball, enjoyed fishing and camping, and loved listening to blue-grass music. The family would like to send their special appreciation to the Marilyn Baker and all the Creekside Health and Rehabilitation Faculty and Staff.

Visitation for Mrs. Baker will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6:00 '''' 8:00 pm at Roller-Burns Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carroll Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow at Anderson Flat Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brady Baker, Logan Adams, Jeremy Baker, Derek Yunkers, Reid McGaughey, and B. J. Reeves.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Red Milligan and his wife, Neva Lane; Charles Jefferson, Nelda Sasser and Lois Gill.

Memorials may be made to Anderson Flat Cemetery Association.
