John Taylor, 74 of Yellville, Arkansas passed away June 11, 2017 at his home. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa on August 26, 1942.

John served 4 years in the Navy on a ship that laid underwater cable to detect sonar submarines. He was active in the Ozark Music Center and enjoyed country music concerts. His favorite past-times included sitting by his pond socializing with friends, taking his dog Ralph for walks, and riding his scooter with his girlfriend Brenda

He is survived by two daughters, Karen and Cindy of Illinois, two brothers, Joe (and wife Debbie) of Virginia and Dan of Minnesota, a grandson, Steven of Illinois as well as three nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents Laurence and Bernice Taylor, and brothers Dave and Steve.

A special thanks goes out to all the friends and family that have helped him throughout the years and to The Hospice of the Hills who cared for him up to his passing.

Funeral arrangements are being entrusted to Roller-Burns Funeral Home and are private at this time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Hospice of the Hills, PO Box 1927, 501 E. Sherman Ave. Harrison, AR 72601.
