Larry Alvin Owen, age 68, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Branson, Arkansas.

Larry was born November 7, 1948 in Dodd City, Arkansas to the late Zerold Jerome and Flora Bell (Yocham) Owen. He was an iron worker for 33 ½ years in Indiana with Local 22.and worked as a butcher for three years in Illinois. He was a 1969 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School. He lived in Shelbyville, Indiana from 1970 to 2004 when he returned to Yellville to retire. His hobbies included fishing, small engine repair, and spending time with family and friends that became family; and causing a ruckus with Red Blackwell. He was a grill master, and a member of Keesee Cemetery board.

Mr. Owen is survived by his wife, Patricia Jeanne (Yodts) Owen of the home; tow daughters: Stephanie Lyn Crawford and her husband, Robert; Heather Ann Phillips and her husband, Dallas; all of Shelbyville, Indiana; two brothers Ivan Owen and his wife, Paula; and art Owen; four sisters: Bobby Gains; Ann Moon; Mary Ruth Schultz and her husband, Mike; and Doris Owen; two grandchildren: Spencer Owen Phillips, and Braeden Grant Phillips; both of Indiana. He is also survived by lots and lots of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Rodney James Owen; two sisters: Freda Ruth Owen, and Bonnie Jean Owen Spencer; and four brothers: J.D. Owen, Ray Owen, W.H. ''Pill'' Owen, and Kenneth Owen.

Visitation for Mr. Owen will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Roller-
Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas from 10:00 am '''' 12:00 noon.

A graveside service will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Keesee Cemetery in Monarch, Arkansas with Bro. Carroll Johnson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Keith Moon, Bobby Moon, Kaleb Moon, Will Hunt, Justin Bristol, Wendal Curtis, Dale Owen, and Lee Melton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Red Blackwell, Bobby Rose, and Terry Henken.

Memorials may be made to Keesee Cemetery.
