Sherlin Dale Nelson, age 91, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Nelson was born in Tyler, Minnesota June 30, 1925 to the late Benny C. and Josephine (Heinz) Nelson. A farmer, he had lived in the area for the past 40 years. He attended Summit Pentecostal Church of God in Summit, Arkansas. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing.

Sherlin is survived by his son Darwin Nelson (Janet) of Cave Springs, Arkansas; his sister Marva Long of Marshall, Minnesota; three grandchildren: Juliet De Felice, Alisa Gay, and Peter Nelson; and by five great-grandchildren.
