Kelly D. Shipman, age 61, of Bruno, Arkansas passed away Friday May 12, 2017 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Mr. Shipman was born December 11, 1955 to Zell and Nola (Bogle) Shipman. Kelly grew up in Grandview, Missouri and moved to Marion County at the age of 16. He played football for Yellville-Summit High School and was a 1974 graduate. He was a commercial construction contractor. His hobby was his family. He enjoyed pickin' the guitar and spending time at the lake with family.
Kelly is survived by his wife, Vicki of the home; two sons: Zachary Shipman (Danielle) of Summit, Arkansas; Jacob Shipman of Bruno, Arkansas; one daughter Kelsey Lasater (Kyle) of Valley Springs, Arkansas; one brother Tim Shipman (Terri) of Bruno; one sister Carolyn Shipman (Gary) of Billings, Montana; and four grandchildren:
Darcy Lasater, Kadence Lasater, Remington Lasater, and Charlie Shipman.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation for Mr. Shipman will be Wednesday May 17, 2017 from 5:00 '''' 7:00 pm at Roller-Burns Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be10:00 am Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Patsy Scott officiating.
Interment will follow at Freck Cemetery near Yellville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Neal Gibson, Wesley Shipman, Junior Shipman, Danny Shipman, and Bruce Trogdon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Shipman, Jacob Shipman, Tim Shipman, and Kyle Lasater.
