Billy Joe Dodson, age 52, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Dodson was born March 2, 1965 in Bethany, Missouri to Albert Lee Dodson and Teresha (McQuerry) Kelly. He was employed in the wheat harvesting industry. A member of Rea Valley Baptist he was an artist; he loved wildlife and played basketball.

Billy Joe is survived by his parents John and Teresha Kelly of Flippin, Arkansas; five brothers: Bob Kelly and his wife, Connie, of Bussey, Iowa; Dennis Kelly of Knoxville, Iowa; Robert Dodson of Flippin, Arkansas; Johnnie Kelly and his wife, Debbie, of Knoxville, Iowa; Mark Dodson and his wife, Amber, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one sister, Deb Kelly of Des Moines, Iowa; his uncle Doug McQuerry of Slater, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother Kerry Kelly.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Rea Valley Baptist Church near Flippin, Arkansas with Bro. Jack Gilliland officiating.
