Gerald Roma Rose, age 90, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 in Yellville.

Mr. Rose was born December 11, 1926 in Everton, Arkansas to the late L.C. and Ola (Davis) Rose. He and Wanda (Osborne) were married July 1, 1948. He had been employed as Procurement Manager for Brown and Root. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II. He was a founding member of Marion Count Cattleman's Association, an elder at Yellville Church of Christ, he was active in Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Stream Team. He was in the last class of Ft. Riley, Kansas Mounted Calvary, as well as working on the Bull Shoals Dam construction.

Gerald is survived by his wife Wanda of the home; his son Roger Rose and his wife, Mary of Yellville; his daughter Leah Quinn and her husband, Travis, of Yellville; two brothers: Eugene ''Gene'' Rose of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; Loy Rose of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandchildren: Jeremy Quinn of New Braunfels, Texas; and Tyler Quinn, and his wife, Amanda, of Buda, Texas; and one great grandson Harrison Quinn, also of Buda, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Warren, and one sister Moyra Tabor.

Visitation will be from 6:00- 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Broadway Church of Christ in Yellville with Jon Hendrix officiating.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Flippin, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Tim Davenport, Terry Tabor, Stacy Davenport, Dane Hudson, Tony Khayat, and Danny Billings.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Rose, Travis Quinn, Jeremy Quinn, and Tyler Quinn.

Wanda & Family: We were so saddened to hear of Gerald`s passing! We send you all our deepest sympathy & pray our loving Lord will give you the comfort, strength & peace you will need during this very sad time in your life. Gerald was one of the finest, kindest & most caring Gentlemen we ever had the blessing of knowing!
