Jimmie R Rorie, 63, of Diamond City, AR passed away on Saturday, April 22nd surrounded by family. He was born September 21, 1953 in Mountain Home AR to the late Earnest Ray Rorie and Melba Elizabeth Young Davis. Jimmie, before becoming disabled in 1986, was an E.M.T/ Paramedic in Marion county and the surrounding areas, he was also a nursing assistant and spent many years caring for the sick. Jimmie saved many lives over the years and was given many awards for his achievements and extra training in cardiology. He loved to hunt, fish, and loved being outdoors. He was a licensed HAM radio operator and took a lot of very hard tests for these. He loved talking on CB radios and visiting with others locally and from around the world. Once Jimmie lost his eye sight in 1986, he continued to enjoy raising his daughter Ondria and spending time with her. Jimmie also loved spending time with his grandkids and family. he was a member of the Light House Bible in Diamond City. his love for Jesus was contagious. Jimmie loved sharing the Love and salvation of Jesus. The promises of the Lord sustained him.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents Earnest Ray Rorie and Melba Elizabeth Young Davis, his wife Barbara Jean Darnell Rorie, a son Stanley, and his twin sister Donna Mae Rorie.

Jimmie is survived by his daughter, Ondria Rorie Medina, her husband James and their four children Elisabeth, Kendra, Abby, and Daniel. He is also survived by step children Aaron Alford and his wife Kristen and their two children Clara and Sofia and Allison Fennell, and her husband David Fennell and their twin girls Kara and Baleigh. he is also survived by one brother Roger and wife Beverly of Harrison, his sisters Peggy Spoonemore and husband Gator of MO, Linda Walker and husband David of TX, and Marsha of Harrison. One nephew Jeremy Russell of MO and his wife Ashley and their two children, and niece Lindsey Rorie of Rogers AR and 6 aunts and many cousins and friends.

A visitation will be on Monday, April 24th from 5-7 pm at Roller-Burns Funeral Home with the Funeral service being held 11 am Tuesday, April 25th at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Willie Bousquet officiating. Interment will follow at Flippin Cemetery.
