Odis Scott Brawner, Sr. of South Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 in Oklahoma.
Scott was born in Wynne, Arkansas at Wilson Clinic on October 10, 1950 to Odis Andy and Ernestine Head Brawner. He was a 1968 graduate of Wynne High School. He served in the U. S. Army National Guard. Scott moved to South Lead Hill around 1994. Scott worked for Southwestern Bell and worked as an independent contract engineer for several companies. Scott was currently the assistant project manager for Diamond Project for Plains All American Pipeline out of Texas. Scott believed in hard work and providing for his family, and could be quoted ''keep your head down and work hard''. He was a very proud man and was very proud of his family.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Beth Brawner of the home,
sons, Andy Brawner and Amanda of Kansas City, Missouri, Odis Scott Brawner, Jr of Glennallen, Alaska, Craig Mitchell of South Lead Hill, Corey Mitchell of Fayetteville,
daughters, Kaye Butler and ''his favorite son-in-law'' Tim of Wynne, Delani Bernice Brawner of South Lead Hill,
brothers, Barry Brawner of Jonesboro, James Brawner of Mississippi,
sisters, Ann Heiniger of Missouri, Lisa Crowder of Forrest City,
grandchildren, Alisa Marie Brawner, Blake Harris, Taylor Butler,
great granddaughter, Ashlyn Harris.
Visitation was will be 6:00 8:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home with burial in Layton Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas.

Dear Kaye, Andy and Scott. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your precious dad. He loved you so very much. Let that memory stay with you always. He was the finest dad you could ever hope for. I loved him dearly and my family did too. You will miss him greatly. Because of Christ we will all be joined together in that glorious city, Heaven, where he is now with Jesus.
