James Homer "Jim" Wallace, age 93 of Yellville, AR died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Creekside Rehabilitation and Therapy in Yellville. A son of the Late Bill and Flossie (Yocham) Wallace, Jim was born January 1, 1924 at Peel, AR. He retired from the Crouse Construction Co. before going to work for the Marion County Road Department. He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and working in his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Amma Jean Wallace; his son, Randy Wallace; his brothers, OG, Joe Bill, Leon, and Max "Mousey" Wallace and a sister, Johnnie Mae Johnson.

He is survived by his son Jackie Wallace (Valerie) of Yellville; a sister, Susie (Wallace) Hunt; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, March 13, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville with a graveside funeral service 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at George's Creek Cemetery in Yellville with Bro. Carroll Johnson officiating. Serving as active pallbearers are Ron, Donnie, Brad and David Wallace, Will Hunt and Michael Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are the Staff at Creekside Rehabilitation and Therapy and Dr. Shawn Bogle.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Burns Funeral Home

Just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know Jim will be missed terribly by his family, he was the greatest uncle anyone could have asked for. Lots of good memories, I love you all.
