Larry Keith Evans, age 78, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away from this life, December 29, 2016.

Larry was born September 2, 1938 in Yellville to Russell T. and Lila Sue (Flippin) Evans. He was a lifelong resident of Yellville. He was a graduate of Yellville-Summit High School and University of Arkansas. He was a coach in Blue Eye, Hollister, Missouri and Louisiana Tech University, and University of Arkansas. He was an active leader of the Yellville community. He was a Rotarian, former President of the Chamber, and owner of Evans Real Estate Company. In 1978 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Mathis Evans.

Larry is survived by his wife, Evelyn, of the home; his daughter Elizabeth Ann Downey and husband, Reid, of Atlanta, Georgia; step-sons: Gary Still and Daniel Still and his wife, Tracy (Horton) Still, all of Yellville, Arkansas; four step-grandchildren: Addison, Erica, Caleb and Kasie; and his sister-in-law Shirley Evans of Yellville, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Russell Howard Evans.

Visitation for Mr. Evans will be 3:00 '''' 5:00 pm Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday January 2, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Hudson officiating.

Interment will follow at Layton Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Yellville First United Methodist Church, Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Arrangements are by Roller Burn Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
