Samuel Dean Rosco Freeman, age 67 of Jasper, left this world peacefully on September 1, 2018 with his family at his side, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1951 at Morning Star. The son of John Wiley and Hiawatha Freeman.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, his niece Veronica Cole, his great- nephew Zach Breedlove, brother -in-laws Everett Kellogg, Ollie Hill and Bennie Johnson.
He is survived by Mari of the home; son, Rickey (Angela) of Argentina; daughter, Gina (Tim) of Hindsville; son, Mead (Jennifer) of Harrison; daughter Meegan (Dusty) of Harrison; sisters, Jonnie, Rose, Jane, Tammy and Mona; brothers, Jim and John. Grandchildren; Brandon,
Jordan, Caleb, Travis, Kevin, Dustin, Aubrey, Paige, Landon, Tayla and Kaysley. Great-grandchildren; Mya, Baily and Hunter.
Sam was a very talented mechanic. He started his career at the Jasper School later working out of his home garage. He was known for collecting old junk and his highlight in life was making a good trade. He always received great comfort from his four-legged friends.
He always had a bountiful and well cared for green garden.
The family would like to give special thanks to his good friend and Doctor Jimmy Justice.
Private interment will be at the family plot in Grandview Cemetery, Morning Star, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Mead Freeman, Dustin Stanbrough, Gene Bell, Everett Jr, Taylor Cole and Tyler Cole.
