Winnie Jetton Richardson

of Harrison, AR

June 18, 1924 - June 14, 2018

Winnie "Jetton" (Garrison) Richardson will celebrate her 94th birthday in the arms of her Heavenly Father. She was the second child of Eddie Ruth and lda Alice (Witherspoon) Garrison, born June 18, 1924. She was welcomed to her Heavenly home Thursday, June 14,2018, from NARMC, by her husband of 68 years, Ervin Blaine; her daughter, Charlotte Raye Clark; two infant grandsons; her parents; her in-laws; her sisters, Alice Ruth Richardson and Juanita Joe Marshall; and her brother, Edward Burton Garrison.

She is survived by her son, Blaine Richardson and wife Pam, of Harrison; her daughters, Brenda Bell of Green Forest and Denease Woods and husband Clinton of Alpena; a sister-in-law, Louise Garrison, of Louisburg, Missouri; Jerry Clark, of Harrison, the father of her grandsons, Kris and Kory; and a foster daughter, Pat Moulder.

She is also survived by and affectionately known as MaJet to eight grandchildren, Dana McCutcheon, Robbie Bell and wife Kendra, Tracey Winders and husband Michael, Tonia Horn and husband Kevin, Melissa Barnard and husband Scott, Kevin Richardson and wife Jennifer, Kris Clark and wife Jarva and Kory Clark and wife Ann; as well as eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and another great-great-granddaughter on the way; and a host of many other loving family members and friends.

She worked diligently as a homemaker and was a supportive help-mate to her husband throughout their marriage. She was a very loving mother and grandmother, but could also be a stern disciplinarian when needed. The love she had for others was always shown by an open heart and home to all her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, league bowling, watching her baseball teams' play, and watching all of her favorite TV shows, doing crossword puzzles and playing dominos. She was of the Assembly of God faith and for many years was a C.A. leader, song leader, and a Sunday school teacher at the Alpena Assembly of God Church.

Her Celebration of Life was at Harrison Faith Assembly of God Church with visitation Monday, June 18, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her service was Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 2:00pm, with Rev. Arlis Thrasher officiating, and assisted by Rev. Dennis Selvidge.

Interment was at Alpena Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dana McCutcheon, Robbie Bell, Tracey Winders, Tonia Horn, Melissa Barnard, Kevin Richardson, Kris Clark and Kory Clark.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Tom Leslie and the staff at Leslie Clinic, her many Atlis caregivers, Dr. Sorg, and the NARMC staff.

Memorials may be made to the Denver Cemetery Fund, c/o Anstaff Bank, 1106 Hwy. 62-65 North, Harrison, AR.

Brenda, I was fortunate to know the loving, kind, and generous lady you called Mom. Alpena was a better place because of her open-door and heart. She will be missed by many but welcomed by the Almighty Lord with open arms!💖
