Mary "Tootsie" Snow, age 98, of Everton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Hillcrest Home in Harrison. She was born October 20, 1919, in Everton, the daughter of Jess and Ola (Miller) Brewer. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her sisters, Mildred Brewer, May Swafford, Pauline Kisner and Wynona Wilson; her brothers, Junior Brewer and Jerrel B. ''Buster'' Brewer; and two sons-in-law, Ray Breedlove and Butch Hankins.

Mary was a member of Everton Methodist Church. She retired at the age of 80 from the Holiday Inn and Days Inn where she was in the housekeeping/laundry department. She had also worked at Acme Laundry. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Mary is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gary "Jack" and Dorothy Snow of Nixa, Missouri and Jerry and Judy Snow of Everton; her daughters, Mary Breedlove and Sharon Hankins, both of Everton, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family.


Visitation was 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 15, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Bruce Trammell officiating. Interment was in Davis Cemetery.

Mary's grandsons served as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Tom Leslie, Amanda Chitsey, APN, and special thanks to the staff of Hillcrest Home, especially the "Ridgemont" staff, where the girls there are so great and the family thinks of them as part of their family.
