Dale Dixon, age 84, of Harrison, died Sunday, December 3, 2017, in Harrison. He was born April 10, 1933, in Harrison, the son of Arlis and Edith (Underdown) Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Dixon; his son, Ricky Dixon; his brothers, Bervin Dixon, Bill Dixon, and J. R. Dixon; his grandsons, Clayton Lott and Steven Roberts; and his granddaughter, Stacey McDonald.
Dale was a 12 year member of CrossRoads Community Church in Harrison. He retired from Claridge where he had worked for 30 years. He was a cattle farmer; loved gardening; and going to see his family in Idaho. He also enjoyed ballgames and his grandchildren. He was a true family man.
Dale is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Clifford Lott of Harrison and Debra Dixon of Harrison; his granddaughter and her husband, Carlee and Trevor Williams, of Harrison; his grandsons and their wives, Cory and Cassie Lott and Cody and Kristen Baker, all of Harrison; his great-grandchildren, Brandon Durden and wife Brittany of Georgia, Dominique Durden of Russellville, Arkansas, and great-granddaughters, Brilee Williams and Ember Lott, both of Harrison; and his great-great-granddaughters, Jaesi and Stacey, of Georgia.
Dale is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia Cope, Linda Sue and Norman Stumbaugh, and Shirley and Terry Pearson, all of Buhl, Idaho; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral is 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2017, at CrossRoads Community Church, with Bro. Johnny Walters and Bro. Mike Moore officiating. Interment is in York Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Ronnie Smith, Carey Tucker, Randy Tucker, Larry Tucker, Jerry Kirkham and Mike Middleton.
Honorary pallbearers are Claridge present and past employees, all Cattlemen's Association, Hoyt Davidson and Jack Cooper.

Debbie, Brenda & families: my Deepest Sympathies to you all at this very sad time.. I hadn’t seen Dale since my mom’s funeral but did think of him often. I know you will miss him terribly but take comfort in him being with your sweet mama and Ricky Dale at last! I bet they are all having a big glass of ice tea about now! Lol!
