Leyland Richard Lourdeau, age 87, of Harrison, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, in Harrison. He was born April 3, 1930, in Westville, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Rena Camille (Staguet) Lourdeau. Leyland was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gay Lorraine (Harrowell) Lourdeau; his son, Richard Lourdeau; and his brother, Leonard Lourdeau.
Leyland was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was an electrician for the City of Lodi, California. He enjoyed gun collecting and his family. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Leyland is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Miller of Harrison, Gaye and Thomas Litz of West Fork, Arkansas and Nancy and John Painter of San Diego, California; his sister, Lorraine LaRette, of Dixon, Illinois; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild totaling twenty two; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial service was Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Ken Rensink officiating.
