Darwin Ray Clark, age 79, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Hospice of the Hills House in Harrison. He was born the youngest of 9 children on November 30, 1937, in Stoverville, Arkansas, the son of Iva and Virginia (Lane) Clark. Darwin was preceded in death by his parents; an infant granddaughter, Emily Anne Smith; 5 brothers, Denver (Vonita) Clark, Travis Clark, Arlis (Lela) Clark, Rymer (Nina) Clark and J. E. Darwin worked for Sheridan Garrison at Garrison Motor Freight, Arkansas Freightways, and American Freightways, before retiring from FedEx in 2002. With deepest regrets over the loss of Darwin. He was a great man. My brother, Tom, and I recall many a fine day at Garrison Motor Freight working in the shop with Darwin.

Many good memories of later years as well.

We are saddened by your loss.

Sincerely,

Will Garrison and Tom Garrison

Our thoughst and prayers are with Darwin's wonderful family. We have fond memories of the times shared on the old place with the Clark's. There is comfort in thinking of the reunion he is having.

I'm so sorry to hear this. He used to be of my favorite at FedEx. He was such a joy to work with. Everytime I would see him after he retired, he always had that smile on his face. Love and prayers are being sent your way. ♡

Darwin was a good friend to me when I worked at Clark Truck and Implement back in the 60's. It was always good to talk to a Christian man who shared their fellowship with the Lord.

Elcie,
I remember one of your visits to Marvin's & Wanda's when I was in college at Oakland City when you gave me a ride back to college on your way returning home. During college I found a friendship that reminds me of the friendship you, Darwin, Marvin & Wanda were blessed to have.
My husband & I extend to you & your family our sympathy & prayers for God's comforting arms around each of you.
