Judith Ann Barnett Campbell, age 77, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family. She was born March 7, 1940, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the daughter of James David Barnett, Jr. and Allene Smith Barnett.

She leaves her husband of 57 years, John W. Campbell, Jr., of Tulsa; her daughter, Karen Campbell, of Bentonville, Arkansas; her son, Al Campbell and wife Janae, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Carly and Matthew Campbell; and her brother, Jim Barnett, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and his three children Jay, Jennifer, and Jill. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Charlotte Jean Barnett.

A 1958 graduate of Valley Springs High School, Judy also attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Judy will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.


Visitation was at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, Harrison, Arkansas, Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

Funeral service was at Valley Springs United Methodist Church Thursday, August 17, 2017, with Rev. Dave Smith officiating.

Burial was at Osborne Cemetery, St. Joe, Arkansas.

Judy was a special friend at school and church. I will always treasure memories of my time with Judy and her family. Long after I left home my parents, Hersel & Dorothy Jefferson, love the times Karen & and Al came to church with the Barnett's. Your are such a special family.. I know this is difficult time- you are in my thoughts and prayers
