of Lead Hill, AR

November 2, 1929 - August 2, 2017

Alberta Mae ''Bertie'' Hinshaw, age 87, of Lead Hill, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Cox Health, in Branson, Missouri. She was born November 2, 1929, in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Herman Clifton Stuckey and Mary Ethyl (Ewing) Stuckey. Along with her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. ''Woody'' Hinshaw.

Bertie loved to dance, garden (growing tomatoes), play guitar, and ride her 4-wheeler. She loved the Boone County area and all the history surrounding it. She was a ''pistol''! She was a ''Moosette'' and loved her big red GMC 4x4 and her Pontiac Solstice, even though she had to have a booster seat to drive them, that didn't stop her from enjoying her vehicles. She enjoyed working for the Washington National Insurance Company, and worked and helped train EMT'S in Harrison with her late husband.

Bertie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Ken Milberg; her grandchildren, Alexander, Stephen, and Mariah; and her sister, Dorothy Hoots, of Hannibal, Missouri.

Graveside service was Friday, August 11, 2017, at Foresee Cemetery in Lead Hill, Arkansas, with daughter Kim Milberg and Ohmer Dyal officiating.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

I am so sorry that we all lost "Bertie" - Will be thinking about her for many, many days.... :-( She was always such a trooper! Always kept going in spite of her troubles and illness.
