Louise Marthie Barker, age 91, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She was born October 27, 1925, in Mt. Sherman, Arkansas, the daughter of James Henry and Addie (Klutts) Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Clifford Barker; four sisters; two brothers; and a half-brother.

Louise was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Levi Strauss Company. She enjoyed going places, her small dog, and quilting. As a young girl she enjoyed riding horses with her siblings. She was a native Arkansan and loved her home state.

Louise is survived by her sisters, Grace Loretta Perez and Ermalea Butler, and her step-son, Bobby Joe Barker.

Services were Friday, January 20, 2017, at Roller Christeson Funeral Home.

Interment was in Plumlee Cemetery

Pallbearers were family and friends.
