I hadn't seen Uncle Chuck for years but when I think of him a smile crosses my face. I remember his laugh and he was always smiling. My thoughts are with you at this time.
Chuck was a loyal neighbor and a protective father. He always had a smile on his face while he kept us updated on the latest news. The last time we saw Chuck, he was enjoying a live band, a hot dog and wearing a glow necklace! What a sport!
You will be missed, Mr. Wendland. Our loss is most definitely Heaven's gain. We will see you soon!
Not sure if you remember me, I used to get all the fireworks for 4th of July when we would all be at Grandpas farm for the week. I loved it there. I remember Chuck had the biggest smile, and always called my dad (Gene) Wimp, or Big Wimp. Chuck and Grandpa used to tell the best stories. I hope you have friends around you, and to help you through everything.
Take care.
