Troy Eugene Creamer, age 86, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2016, at his home. He was born January 11, 1930, in Myrtle, Arkansas, the son of Owen and Mae (Goins) Creamer. Along with his parents, Troy was preceded in death by his brothers, Claud Creamer and Roy Creamer.

Troy graduated from Hopewell schools in 1948. Immediately after graduation, he joined the newly formed U. S. Air Force. While in the Air Force, he served in automotive maintenance and aircraft fuel system repair. He served during the Vietnam War and retired from the Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant after 28 years of service. After a few years with the National Park Service, Troy served as a Boone County Justice of the Peace for twenty years. Troy was a regular at his grandchildren's sporting events and enjoyed telling stories of his days in the Air Force. He spent most of his retired life cutting wood and hauling hay for others and working on his farm. He loved gardening and anything outside and kept his property looking good all the time.

Troy is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Roxie (Yancey) Creamer, of the home; his daughter, Roxana Creamer of Harrison; his son and daughter-in-law, Col Duane Creamer, USAF (Ret) and his wife Col Marlesa Scott, USAF, of Helotes, Texas; four grandchildren, Isabel Creamer and Brianna Creamer, both of Helotes, Texas, Dr. Chance Martin and his wife Ashlie of Springfield, Missouri, and Bingo Martin and her fiancé John Colliver, both of Harrison; his sisters, Dorothy Edmonson of Grants, New Mexico and Bertha Edmonson of Harrison; and a host of other family and many friends.

Visitation was Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Monday, June 27, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Pastor Michael Wanner officiating.

Pallbearers were John Colliver, Tim Creamer, Bill Creamer, Jacob Creamer, PR Webb and Chance Martin.

Interment was in Hopewell Cemetery.

So sorry for the family loss .This very kind man married us many years ago right in his yard ,Of course straight from the fields .He will truly be missed and all them hay hauling stories will be remembered .

I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Troy Creamer. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. Experiencing the lost a beloved family member is one of the hardest things that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assure in this wonderful promise that God holds out to all of us. He promise to reunite us back with all those loved ones that we have lost. (John 5:28,29) Until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mr. Tony.
