Lizza Tenison, age 98, of Cowell, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Newton County Nursing Home. She was born March 23, 1918, at Red Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Sam and Dora (Burdine) Dotson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Otto, who died in 1996; and four children.
She is survived by three children, Bob Tenison of Harrison, Lucille Smith of Jasper, and Kay Bickford of Cowell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Debbie Rogers, Annette Brasel, Kelly Tenison, Janet Clark, Kim Campbell, Bryan Smith, and Jerry Ewing; fourteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service is 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Cowell Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Joe Sain will officiate the service.
Pallbearers are Kelly Tenison, Bryan Smith, Jerry Ewing, Terry Brasel, Michael Campbell, David Clark and Roland Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers are Lizza's great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and special friend and caregiver, Debbie.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Lizza, sorry we were not able to come to show respect for our dear Aunt. Clemon, Lucille and Kay, we know your hearts are so heavy and you will miss your mother so very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
