Katie Marie Waggoner, age 71, of Zinc, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Maple Esplanade Assisted Living in Harrison. She was born July 14, 1943, in Harrison, the daughter of Harve and Mary (Davis) Fredrick. Along with her parents, Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Don Waggoner; two sons, Jerry Dean Waggoner and Randall T. Waggoner; her brother, James Fredrick; and four half-sisters.

Katie was of the Baptist faith. She married Jerry Don Waggoner November 10, 1961. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, making homemade quilts, and being loved by her 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her family and her friends.

Katie is survived by her sons, Edward Waggoner, of Zinc, Andrew Waggoner of Harrison, and John Waggoner of Bergman; her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Eddie Kelley of Pyatt and Stacy and Dale Slagely of Harrison; her sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and J. R. Pratt, of Cassville, Missouri; and her brothers, Ernie Fredrick and Bennie Fredrick.

Memorial service was Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Keesee Church with Pastor Rodney Stromlund officiating.

Katie was my daddy's cousin.{Joe Davis}. I never knew Katie well, but every time I have seen her she always had a smile and a good word to say. I could tell she really had a good heart and I wish I had gotten to know her better.
My prayers go out to her family.

R.I.P mom I love u so much and u will be greatly missed. It's hard to believe u are gone. But I know that u are in a better place and u are seeing dad, Randy and Jerry Dean again but most of all u are with Jesus. Love u mommy
