Ray Young, one of the most influential men in my life. We spent many hours on Crooked Creek together 30 plus years ago when I was a teen. I can still laugh at thoughts of some of his sayings. He was a man of the one true God. A man of character, dignity, honor and love. He was a great man. As time passes I find myself thinking about what men influnced my life the most. There ae only 4 ,Milton Compton(Papaw), PM Cox(Grandpa) , Jim Watt and Ray Young . Thank you Mr Young for your Godly example, for your leadership and most of all for being my friend.

My deepest sympathy to Aunt Cynthia, Carolyn, JoAn, and to all the family.

I will cherish my memories of the man I called Uncle Ray. Such fond memories of summer vacations with the horseback riding, fishing trips, and fish frys after. My first memory is of watching those long Pitch games.

Uncle Ray , Rest In Peace.
You touched many lives.
