Bonnie Lee Hudson

of Harrison, AR

March 12, 1929 - November 28, 2014

Bonnie Lee Hudson, age 85, of Harrison, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014, in Harrison, with her family by her side. She was born March 12, 1929, in Green Forest, Arkansas, the daughter of Dallas and Stella (Walker) Emmett. Bonnie was currently a member of Bellefonte First Baptist Church, Woodland Heights Baptist Church, and Harrison Bible Church for many years. Her faith was a priority in her life. She played the piano wherever she was as a regular pianist or a substitute.

Bonnie grew up in Green Forest until she attended college at Henderson State Teacher's College in Arkadelphia. She then returned to live in Harrison until her death. She worked at Sav-a-Stop in its initial days and retired from Claridge Products in 1995 after 32 years.

Bonnie loved cooking, playing piano, and enjoyed listening to music. Spending time with her family and friends was something Bonnie truly cherished, especially in her later years.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Beverly Austin and husband Jackie of Harrison; her granddaughter, Jaclyn Austin, of Conway; and her sister-in-law, Francis Emmett, of Berryville.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob L. Hudson; an infant sister, Alice; two brothers, Don Emmett and Herald Emmett; and a nephew, Jim Emmett.

Funeral service was Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Visitation was Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Interment was at Maplewood Cemetery.
