Lucille (Roberts) Gillham, age 83, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on July 16, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. Lucille was born on December 5, 1928 to H.G. and Bertha (Brown) Roberts in Zinc, Arkansas.
Lucille was a Member of Eagle Heights Baptist since Oct 1961 and lifetime resident of Boone County. Lucille had many hidden talents that often amazed people. She could sew anything, crocheted Christmas stocking for her grandchildren, could grow anything and enjoyed transplanting flowers and plants around her yard to make everything just right. Her grandchildren would visit during the summer and they claim that the visit was always the highlight of their summer.
She is survived by her husband Harold Gillham, grand-daughter Stephanie and husband Russell Spry of Jinks, Oklahoma, grand-sons; Aaron Collins of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jonathan and wife Rosalee Collins of Jinks, Oklahoma, her son-in-law; Curtis Collins, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her Great-Grandchildren Garrett, Christopher, Emily and Jeremiah and her special friend and cousin, Edna Valentine. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Brenda Collins, aunt; Ruth Brown and two brothers; Eugene and Warren Roberts.

I would like to give my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Lucille Gillham. I did not know her personally, but I am sure that she was loved dearly and will be missed very much. Losing a loved one in death is often quite a sad event to go through. However, please do not despair. You can be sure that God takes notice of your sorrow and cares deeply. (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) Also, God has not left us without hope. He has given us His word that soon, no one will lose someone they love in death again. (Isaiah 25:8) We can also look forward to enjoying life with our dear dead loved ones again. (John 5:28, 29) We can be confident in these promises from God, as it is impossible of Him to lie. (Titus 1:2) I hope that these few thoughts will be able to provide a measure of comfort in your time of sorrow.
I am thinking of your family and wish that I could be there with you. Please know that I am with you in spirit through prayer.
