Joyce Siddons DeShazier, age 71, of Weiner passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her home. She was born December 7, 1941 in Pulaski, TN to Jim and Georgia Hill Wakefield.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L.V. ''Archie'' Deshazier; and two brothers, Jimmy and James Wakefield.

Survivors include her sons, George Wesley Siddons of Weiner, Jason De
Shazier and Ricky DeShazier both of TN; three daughters, Debra Lee Forkum of Harrisburg, Donna Carolyn Siddons of Weiner and Loretta Mason of Jonesboro; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Tommy Wakefield of Marion; and two sisters, Helen Bornhoft of Weiner and Barbara Cooper of Greenforest.

Visitation will be 5 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner with the chapel service beginning at 6 pm with Pastor Eddie Passmore officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner.

David Schwarz, Tony Schwarz, David Elder, Keith McIllwain, Matt Bornhoft, and William Bornhoft will serve as active pallbearers.

Sherry Smith, Floyd Comer, Hope Cooper, Kenton Cooper-Gulley will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Lasting memorials can be made to Oak Grove Cemetery or the Weiner Fire Department.

I remember my mom and Joyce being best of friends while I was growing up. I can still see her in my mind. Donna and family, I'm praying for each of you. I know when my mom passed how difficult that was. I miss her but I will see her again just as you'll see Joyce again. Holding you all close.
