Charles Richard Wilks, 86 of Osceola, AR, passed away January 10, 2018 in Jonesboro, AR. He was born June 17, 1931 in Caruthersville, MO to Charles Lee and Lillian Wilks. He is an Army Veteran, a member of First Baptist Church in Osceola and retired from First National Bank in Osceola. Survivors include his loving wife: Carolyn Wilks; nieces: Gail Bowers, Leigh Ann Cagle and Cindy Banister; nephews: Stephen Banister and Bill Banister; cousins: Larry Chisenhall and Pat Gordon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Aunt Carolyn, I'll always remember the last time I was with Uncle Charles. The family had stopped off in Osceola to visit on our way to the White River and Branson. That would've been '86 or '87. We did together what we both enjoyed doing. . . Played a round of golf. We came up on a green with water in front. Uncle Charles told me I didn't have enough club but I was out to prove big old me could do it. . . He was right. Wish we lived closer so I could give you a hug. . .Love, Stephen.
