Billy Jack Mauppins, 77, of Wilson, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was born February 14, 1940 in Reverie, Tennessee to Johnnie and Katherine Mauppins. He was owner and operator of Mauppins Grocery in Wilson for 26 years. Survivors include daughters: Sherry Rider of Wilson, AR and Tammie Mauppins of West Memphis, AR; grandson: Bobby Sumner Horton of West Memphis, AR; sister: Faye Mauppins Stracener of Jonesboro, AR and adopted son: Bobby (Karen) Russ of Osceola, AR. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Mauppins; son: Billy Jack Mauppins Jr.; his parents and brothers: Alvin, Willard, Albert Lee and Roy.

I'm so sorry to hear of Billy’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW
