Rose Marie Baker, 84, of Osceola, AR passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 in Jonesboro, AR. Born September 17, 1931 in Lyons, NY to the late Anthony and Emma DeSain. During her time on earth, she enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling and spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her husband Charles D. Baker; two daughters: Charlene (Buddy) Hart of Osceola, AR and Lori (Robert) Compton of Lexington, TN; two sons: Charles D. (Tracey) Baker Jr. of Madison, AL and Tony Baker of Gosnell, AR; nine grandchildren: Joe Hart, Bobbi Lyn Hart, Amy Johnson, Justin Baker, Ginny Baker, Chad Baker, Brett Baker, Zach Webb and Samantha Holston and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: John DeSain, Joseph DeSain, Santo DeSain and Arthur DeSain; four sisters: Flora Pronti, Mary DeToye, Antoinette DeSanto and Eleanor Iannopollo.
Charles and family, Rose was such a special lady. I will never forget how kind and welcoming she was to me. She will be greatly missed. We would love to have come to her memorial service, but did not hear in time to make the trip. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
