He leaves two sons and one daughter in law, Dan W. Hogan (Phyllis) of Nashville, TN and Jack K. Hogan Jr. of West Memphis and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Hogan of Atlanta, Georgia and Garrison Hogan of Nashville, TN. He leaves numerous nieces and nephews as well.

Mr. Hogan's 63 year marriage to Mollie included playing bridge, bowling, traveling, and spending time with family until her death in 2014 from Cancer. Losing his beloved Mollie was a very difficult time but his coffee group played a big part in helping him through this tough time.

A passionate golfer, he spent many days playing golf with his friends at Meadowbrook Country Club which led his son, Dan to be an avid golfer. In addition, his grandson, Garrison, plays college golf as a junior at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. His Granddaughter, Elizabeth, is a banker in Atlanta, Georgia following in her Grandfathers footsteps as well.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday (Good Friday) at 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church with burial immediately following at Crittenden Memorial Park.

Dan and Phyllis, Alison and I send our prayers. You introduced us to your dad in the late 1980's and he was a true southern gentleman taking great interest in our lives and future....We spent many good times in W. Memphis on the golf course and Hogan household....I remember telling your dad how you beat the pro at the Fed Ex pro am( I was your caddy) and he just smiled with great pride...I did get the message from my neighbor when you were watching your son play golf in Augusta...Small world! Take Care

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at John 5:25, 28,29
Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live.
"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".

Dear Jackie, Dan, Phyllis Elizabeth and Garrison,

I grieve with you in your loss. Your dad and mom were
special people to me. It is unfortunate that our family members sort of drifted apart after Lucy Belle's death.
God is good even in tough times. He is called the God of all comfort who comforts us with a comfort that we too may be able to comfort others in the future. I am looking forward to seeing you on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
God's best to you all
Bill Hogan
