Oh man, Denver will be missed by so many. I went to church with him and Catherine several years ago. He was very kind and well thought of wherever he went. Always had a great smile and happy attitude. Even during confusing times Denver would help make it right. A man to admire. I know he is rejoicing with Catherine right now. I am sorry for those he has left behind who will need the Lord's comfort. May His peace be with each of you.

My precious Uncle Den was loved and respected by everyone he came into contact with throughout his life. He was a special soul that loved life and his people. He brought laughter everywhere he went. I will forever remember that smile and that laugh. He will live on in the beautiful family that he and Aunt Katherine created. My heart hurts but is soothed by the fact that he is rejoicing in heaven with his Lord. All my love goes out to the family.

Brother-Papa Denver Forbis
You Will Always Be "My Sweet Sunshine"
that made me laugh,giggle, filled with glorious glee
Miss Tiffany Lea Jones.

We Prayed,Interceded,Worshipped,Fellowshipped,
Shared sweet Communion-Community
All At West Memphis Church Of God,
& Bigger The Body,Bride,& Church Of Jesus Christ.

We gathered at the true river of Glory like that
old song is sung,& We gathered at the organ
at West Memphis Church Of God On Many
occasions & sang Old Gospels Songs
Right after we broke bread & had a blessed meal.

Always,Smiles,Hugs,Jokes,Laughter,Worship
So I gather now with You United In
The One Whom We Both serve who Is Love
& Worship Around the Thrown Of Glory & Sing

This Sweet Song By Robert Lowry,
1864 Revelation 22:1-2

"Shall We Gather at the River? "

Shall we gather at the river,
Where bright angel feet have trod,
With its crystal tide forever
Flowing by the throne of God?
Refrain:
Yes, we’ll gather at the river,
The beautiful, the beautiful river;
Gather with the saints at the river
That flows by the throne of God.
On the margin of the river,
Washing up its silver spray,
We will talk and worship ever,
All the happy golden day.
Ere we reach the shining river,
Lay we every burden down;
Grace our spirits will deliver,
And provide a robe and crown.
At the smiling of the river,
Mirror of the Savior’s face,
Saints, whom death will never sever,
Lift their songs of saving grace.
Soon we’ll reach the silver river,
Soon our pilgrimage will cease;
Soon our happy hearts will quiver
With the melody of peace.
