Dear Browder/ Graves Family,
I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to your family. I didn't know Christy personally but, it saddens me deeply when I read of someone so young that dies and leaves young children behind. My sister died at a young age from cancer and left behind two young daughters and a son with spinal meningitis. But she always had the hope that according to John 5:28,29 that she would see her family again. Its says in part, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out... And my sister also knew and believed that sickness and death would be a thing of the past according to Isaiah 33:24 " And no resident will say I am sick." That time is very close now. Jehovah God promises that 'the meek will possess the earth... Until that time may Jehovah " the God of all comfort" grant your family peace, endurance and comfort during this most difficult time.
First and for most, I want to wish my deepest, sincere condolences to Adam and the children. Some of whom I met when I was working at the WIN Center in West Memphis long ago when Christy brought them to my office. She announced herself only as 'my sister'. I thought it a prank since Melonie passed away in 1985 and Christy had no contact with me in awhile.
Christy was born in 1975 in Memphis, TN while my father, Jim Browder, Sr. and my mother were still married. My father and mother owned the Jewelry Nook Jewelers and he was holding office of Sheriff in Crittenden County (Johnnie served as his deputy during this time). My dad brought the infant to our home on Rich Rd, West Memphis to introduce her to my sister, Melonie and I and to have my mother raise her as her own. My mother refused and was was finally able to safely secure a divorce in 1981. After the divorce, my father and Johnnie married at Calvary Baptist Church, West Memphis, AR. During the time Christy was born Johnnie and half-sister, Tammy Logue lived in an apartment on Elvis Presley Blvd in Memphis, TN.
I have many memories of Christy, too many to mention here, but know that she cared, loved deeply for her husband, all her children and friends. She will be sorely missed by many, but especially her family.
Rest in peace, Christy.
She will be missed dearly and I got to know her when she worked for pbj happy day shows and she is a great person and she is not in pain no more and she is in heaven now
I will always love and miss my sister for as long as I live. I'm so dearly sorry and send all my love to my family. I love you all so very much!
We wanted to express our sympathies to you at this your time of grief we pray you be strengthened in the days ahead. We like to share a thought that gave us comfort. At Daniel 12:2 , "And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up, some to everlasting life ..." May this thought bring you comfort as it did our family during our time of loss.
JR
I miss you so much my friend
