William Ray Clark died peacefully on August 28, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 88.

William is survived by wife, Lillie Cassidy Clark; sons Barry Clark of Bartlett, Tennessee, Billy Clark of Hernando, Mississippi, Bobby Cassidy of Marion, Arkansas; daughters Debbie Cole of Bartlett, Tennessee, Kathie Clark of Double Springs, Alabama, Judy Thomas of West Memphis, Arkansas, Sherry Rios of Marion, Arkansas, Cindy Dabbs of Proctor, Arkansas, Sandy Ford of West Memphis, Arkansas; sister Marie Gilbert of Cave City, Kentucky; brother Frank Clark of Muskegon, Michigan; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

 He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charlie Clark and Steve Clark. William was born on April 20, 1929 in Niles, Ohio to Plyra and Ada Clark.

He married Lillie Cassidy Clark, the love of his life, in 1994. William was a farmer of oats, wheat and corn; worked for Chicago Bridge Iron for 35 years, Baptist Hospital for ten years, and was a United States Army Veteran, serving eight years.  After years of extensive work and retirement, William and Lillie traveled the world any chance they could. He was a dedicated individual who loved his family and would give you the shirt off his back.

Father Charles Thessing will officiate rites.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" ( 3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, (4 ) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God
