Garnett L. Ellison, 84, of West Memphis died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home in West Memphis, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Ellison and a granddaughter Rebecca Henson.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlette Henson of Marion, AR; a son Charles L. Hoover of Buford, GA; two sisters, Irene Sparks of West Memphis, AR; and Edith Luongo; three brothers, Rocky Kirtley of Grand Prairie, TX, James Kirtley of San Jose, CA and Billy Kirtley of Earle, AR; three grandchildren, J. J. Henson, Robert L. Hoover, and Charles L. Hoover Jr. two great-grandchildren Caleb Henson and Hunter Henson.

I am so sorry to learn of Garnett's passing. She was such a sweet, sweet lady and a wonderful friend to my aunt. She was always encouraging and upbeat, even while dealing with her own pain. I am praying for her family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking to Mrs. Garnet when she would walk her dog. She was such a sweet lady, I've missed seeing for a couple of years though. Prayers for comfort for you all.

Charlette and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Garnett was a blessing to my family after mom passed. She was so good to my dad, checking on him and bringing him food, walking with him every day. She was a very special lady loved by family and friends! Hope you find comfort and strength in wonderful memories of your mom.
