February 15, 1927 - June 24, 2017

Glover ''Nookie'' Daniel, 90, of Proctor, AR passed away in Memphis, TN on June 24, 2017.

He served a year in the United States Army and three years in the United States Air Force. Glover was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the IBEW #474. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in West Memphis. He was an avid hunter and was meticulous with his yard and garden.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Jennie Daniel of 60 years; his son, Bruce Daniel; his parents, H.P. and Mary Virginia Daniel.

Mr. Daniel is survived by: his daughter, Janet Daniel Sorrell of West Memphis; his son, Robert Daniel (Cathy) of Proctor, AR; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Daniels, Clinton Daniel, Tyler Daniel, and Courtney Gilley; and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or East Arkansas Enterprises.

Visitation will be at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home on June 29th from 11AM 12PM with the funeral service following at 12PM. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park.
