Charlotte Yount, 69 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away peacefully on June 13, 2017. Charlotte was the daughter of Marshall Lee and Mary Edna Porterfield born April 14, 1948. Charlotte eventually met and fell in love with Curtis Yount whom she adored and was able to spend the next 32 years. Charlotte enjoyed her church, loved to cook, be with her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by many no doubt. Charlotte leaves behind not only her husband Curtis but a number of other family members including one son; William Clinton Pruett (Regina) of Guys, Tn., two daughters; Tina Stanley of Memphis and Teresa Pruett of Jackson, Tn., two brothers; Jerry Porterfield (Jeanne) of Sale Creek, Tn. and Nathaniel Porterfield (Betty) of Turrell, Ar. Seven grand-children; Destinie Boone, John Stanley 3rd, Krystal Stanley, Andrea Sanchez, Stevie Browning, Brea Browning and Nelson Browning. Seven great-grandchildren; Michael Lee Brown, Lilian Boone, Salem Sanchez, Charlotte Sanchez, Dustin Hawkins, Tyson Garland and Rebecca Garland. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Wilton Lee Porterfield and Donald Porterfield.
