Outside of spending time with her family she most enjoyed a good game of chance especially going to Tunica when she was able or more recently Monday bingo at the nursing home.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Flossie and Lonnie Anderson; two sisters, Louise Godwin and Lyntine Fleet; her loving husband, JW Steen; and her oldest son James Dennis Sorrell.

She is survived by two brothers, Howard Anderson and Don Anderson (Lois); one sister, Mary Jane Gross; her five children, Gail Mayfield (Dale), Susan Marconi (Charles); Phillip Sorrell (Suzanne), Nancy Wood (Rick) and Rick Sorrell; three step-children, Jerry Steen, Wanda Jackson (Michael) and Shirley Hindman; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas at 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

I can't believe I'm seeing that you're gone from here Aunt Lucille. I may not know why you're gone but I know you are very happy to be in heaven surrounded by so much of our family. I know you couldn't wait to see my mom and uncle again and they were probably some of the first people you had to see. It breaks my heart to know that you're gone and I've lost another wonderful and caring family member. I used to love visiting you with my mom. I can remember exactly how your voice sounded when you would say her name or my uncle's. I'm sorry you couldn't be there when he passed but you're all together again and I know it's been a really long time since you've seen my grandma so I know that makes you happy also. I look forward to seeing you again one day. Tell my mom to be strong and you will all see me again one day. I love and miss you Aunt Lucille.

Susan and family, as death always make's me sad, it does more so when it touches those I am close to. I pray the Lord will comfort you and your family at this time and always. I ask that the Holy Spirit be with you and hold you in this time of sadness, and see you to brighter days in the Lord.
