William A. Cheney died at the Memphis VA Medical Center on Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born on August 10, 1938 to Artimus and Edna Cheney in Forrest City, Arkansas. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as the Maintenance Manager for Boeing Aircraft. William also served in the US Army.
He is survived by his three sons, William A. Cheney, Steven A. Cheney and Daniel Cheney; Three grandchildren, Ashley Cheney, Alyssa Cheney and Stephanie Cheney, four sisters, Bernice Wilson, Willie Stubbs, Helen Blackwood and Diane Reeves; three brothers, Herman Cheney, Larry Cheney and Gary Cheney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Artimus and Edna Cheney; one sister Betty Welch; two brothers Garland Cheney and Monroe Cheney.
