Dodie Lynn Summerford, 55, Proctor was born December 2, 1961 in Memphis the daughter of James Thomas and the late Mary Earlene Peden '''' Turner. She passed away April 15, 2017. Mrs. Summerford was a homemaker and was devoted to her family and her God. In 1979 Dodie married James Summerford. Dodie is survived by three children; Bryan Summerford of Memphis and Colby Summerford of Hattiesburg, MS, and Lindsey Jordan of Horn Lake. Mrs. Summerford is also survived by her grandson, Gabe Martin and two sisters; Bonnie Walker and Ruthie Redden both of Proctor. Also surviving is her mother in law, Betty Summerford Franklin along with her father James T. Turner and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of close friends. The family will receive their friends 6:00 pm '''' 8:00 pm Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis. Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 20, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Crittenden Memorial Park.
